I am a lifestyle photographer based in Virginia. I serve clients in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the greater Washington DC area. I specialize in capturing unique images using artistic approach to create a collection of great memories. I see light differently and while other photographers claim to only use natural light which creates flat, 2-dimensional effect. I use more complex lighting, such as strobes and softboxes, to create beautiful images full of life and dimension. I have captured newborns, portraits, groups family portraits, as well as special events, such as weddings, baptisms, birthday parties, nightclub, and more. Most of the sessions are held outdoors, and you can have your pictures taken at your residence as well.

Where are you located?
Woodbridge, Virginia! I photograph all over Northern Virginia and the Washington DC area as well.
What is included in a session?
A regular portrait session includes up to 2 hours of my time, at a previously agreed upon location, and my time editing/designing/prepping your images. The length of the session depends on what type it is, for example, seniors usually take up the full 2 hours whereas family sessions are only about 45 minutes to an hour. All prints, canvas, albums, etc are purchased separately.
Do you offer digital files?
Yes! All edited images will be uploaded to a passworded gallery and you will have access to download individual or the entire gallery of high resolution images.
What should I wear?
Just make sure your outfit suits your personal style and personality. Choose colors that you love, solids work best in photographs though. Nothing too tight, or baggy either. Don’t forget to accessorize!
What should I bring?
Bring anything that may represent you, your relationships, activities etc.
Pets are welcome, but I ask that you bring someone to hold them when they’re not being photographed, and treats or their favorite toy for me to help get their attention.
How long until we receive our photos?
About 2 weeks after your session. Sometimes less.
What’s your style?
My style is lifestyle, authentic, and fun. We will do some posed shots, but also some more organic, natural shots too.
What are your prices?
Wedding packages start at $650.
Portrait Sessions are $200.
Products for portrait sessions are all purchased separately.
I’m working with a budget, do you offer discounts?
Throughout the year, we may offer some specials, and military families receive a 10% discount on products(be sure to let me know you’re in the military when you order), but aside from those, I offer a Friends & Family discount
I’m not a good poser, do you help?
Absolutely! That’s what I do. Very few people in the world are super confident in front of the camera. We will spend some time at the beginning of the session loosening up a bit. I will guide you and help you throughout the entire session.
What if my kids don’t behave?
It happens! No worries, I have lots of patience, and we’ll do our very best. Bring snacks etc for during the session, and try to avoid being overly critical of their behavior during our time because they often respond negatively to those types of vibes. I’m confident we’ll have some winning shots for you.
Do we see ALL of the photos?
Nope. I remove any duplicate shots, blinks, “unready” faces, missed focus shots, flash misfires etc. You will have lots of variety and plenty of photos.
How many photos will we receive?
It depends on how long we are shooting together. I don’t commit to a certain number, but I have no doubt that you will receive more than enough photos during our time together.
How far in advance do we need to book?
For portrait sessions, about a month in advance will work. Weddings need to be booked asap, at least 6 months in advance, but don’t let that stop you from contacting me if your wedding is sooner than that, there’s always a chance!
Are there any hidden fees?
None at all.
Are there printing restrictions? - No, you are welcome to print the photos.
What about your food? - Don't worry, we bring our own food.
Do you come early? - Yes, always.
Are travel costs included? - Yes, for the DMV (Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland).
Do you have a contract? - Yes, you can contact me to see a copy.
Do you need a deposit? - Yes, a downpayment of $150 is needed.
Are the images safe? - Of course. The main camera records the photos to two memory cards at the same time, so there is an immediate backup as soon as the photo is taken, and of course I always have a second camera for extra safety. Several more backup copies of the photos are made after the wedding. And of course you can always get copies from me anytime up to 6 months after your event.

About my style of shooting
I keep communication with you during the day, and I will let you know if I need you to move a little or pose in a different way. I believe this interaction between us is important, and of course good communication is important to make sure the photography is relaxed and enjoyable for you and the guests.
I also spend some of the time shooting "reportage", staying a little further back and photographing the events and people. Of course I am happy to shoot only-reportage, if you prefer that.
I try to make every photo interesting and pretty, because I don't think a wedding photo album is much fun if it only has a few good photos and then lots of boring ones.
